Now He's Mine - Hillgrove Hill University - Book 1
First and foremost I would like to thank none other than Cadence Smoke the author of this book and Love Notes PR for the acceptance email saying that I was approved for this arc, when I first received the email and opened it up I squealed with delight and was so excited and I couldn't wait to get started on this book.
Please beware you will need some tissues, not many but I sure did have a few moments where this book broke me, but it was so well worth the read that is for sure, and now to add make sure you have a whole box of tissues!
I'm not going to go into full detail in this blog, why you ask? Because then it will ruin how good, unputdownable this story is and I feel like as a reader you need that chance to go all in without knowledge or spoilers with this book. If you haven't already then I recommend you go ahead a preorder this book, cause you will have so many regrets if you don't.
The plot, the story, the characters, the wittiness, the sassiness, the friendships, the personalities are all written so damn beautifully. They all fit into place, fall into place, belong all together so well in this story.
The characters well i don't even know where to start but I fell in love with all of the characters in this book, Vix and Austin are the bestest of friends and their relationship is something special, something that will always be special even after years apart, but deep down there is something more than just friends between the two of these characters. All of the characters fell into place and just fitted so perfectly with this story.
I really don't know what or how to say this but how the fuck (I'm sorry I don't normally swear in these) could you do that to me at the end, I cannot believe that has happened 😭. That was one frame of events that threw me off, I completely and utterly sobbed my heart out in bed this morning at like 4.30am while I was finishing this book up! I'm completely guttered and shocked but cannot wait to see what the next book is, and to read it that is for sure!
Vix and Aus have this special relationship, it's so perfect that no matter what nothing can come in between them. But then you have to always realise not everything will be a happily ever after and you never know that tomorrow will bring, you never know what would be around the corner and I loved how they always made the most of whatever time there is.
I will remind you now that i’m not sharing what happens in the book, why beacause i went all in without knowing and i also wouldn’t want it spoiled if i haden’d read this book. i feel like this is a book you need to take without the information and it’s a read that you must do, but don’t forget your tissues!
Kash is this person who I completely adored as well, and his friendship with Vix and Aus is special, it's just something that I didn't expect, further towards the end I have to admit his actions not only shocked me but they moved my heart, I really do hope that he is able to help Vix, cause her actions aren't what Aus would want her to be doing.
Vix and Leah’s friendship is what you call true best friends, it’s so special and they both take each other as they are. They don’t have to pretend or hide who they are, and they both have this special connection. That’s something any girls would want as a friendship with a bestie, the same way i share with my bestie and it’s amazing.
This story was a such a simple, easy read you have this issue that once you get all into the book you can't stop reading for those little sessions that you have, I am so glad that I took the time out to find the post that offered this arc, because this book is going to forever live rent free in the part of my heart that is broken just like the last letter did.
Cadence thank you so much for this book it was amazing, yes you broke me, you also broke me in ways that no one would understand. I really did love this read, and cannot wait for more of Vix's story.
