                When I first read this on the amazon listing for this kindle unlimited book I wondered what did 'When loyalty failed, destiny demanded more.' meant in regards to this story, this is what made me decide that I wanted to read this as one of my book club books for fantasy while even bonus it went under couple of other categories for the month.

Emily always believed in the moon goddess sacred bond between their mates, Emily's wolf finally come about at her turning age of 18, her wolfs name is Aria and a beautiful wolf she is. Her life was going good until her mate shattered her completely and bonded with someone he wasn't meant to. This was mean of him, and I felt so so sorry for her. Her brother Liam then growled at Lucas and Ashley for going against the moon goddess, but what he didn't realise is that it was his sister that was Lucas fated mate. How long will it take for the truth to come out, and her brother Liam to learn this truth about what his Beta did to his sister?

The Pack received a letter from the Alpha King's castle during the time that a war is being plotted and there is growing rogue attacks. Emily is representing Luna for her pack along side her brother, because he hasn't found his mate yet. While at the castle Emily goes through the painful experience on her own when her fated mate is having intimate relations with his chosen mate, this is where she meets Noah (well this is as she knows him). Emily's and Noah's relationship grows stronger the longer that they hang out, and after a while he asks her to be his chosen mate.

The castle is ambushed and they all go into a battle, while sending those who cannot fight to the bunkers to protect themselves. Then Liam and the others learn that Lucas is hiding in the bunker because he couldn't shift, this is where Liam finally learns the truth about what he has done to his sister Emily, even though Liam is hurt she never went to him for support and comfort he is relived that she had Noah by her side during this time. 

There is a possibly that they have learned who their traitor is, and they are keeping a close eye on him during this time now. This is where we as the reader learn that Noah is the Alpha King, my guess is that before the siren goes of to warn everyone who cannot fight to go to the bunker, Emily was about to learn the truth about who Noah really was.

The battle is over quickly and easy when they kill the main leader for the rouges and capture the traitor who is Alpha Drake. He is then trailed and sent to the dungeons until death, and Noah is telling Emily the truth on who he is at the same time she struggles with this she also realises this is what she wants. The night of the ball everyone learns who the Alpha King and Luna Queen are, while Emily's brother Liam finally finds his own Luna. 

Overall I really did enjoy this quick and easy book, but at the same time I feel like it needed to be longer than what it really was, maybe it wasn't finished before being published I'm unsure. But the story was well written just could have done more with the in-betweens than there was in it.

Really did enjoy this book so much, and cannot wait to dive into another one.
