I was lucky enough to be one of the chosen limited 20 people to get this ARC read through Lexi before it was put onto NetGalley, and I am very grateful and thankful that she choose me. Because well I demolished this book, and really did love the story, the background and how it was written! No words what so ever, I am gobsmacked and need book 2 for this series!

Laurel look after her father who is a full alchoholic and needs rehab, she does so so much more than what a young girl at that age does, but I guess that is what you do as a daughter who doesn't want to loose her father. 

While working away at the Pizza shop while delivering pizzas as well she stumbles into some trouble at a location called The Order. The Background is so secret but she does learn a lot about it during her time there. 

The Order rule with ritual, obedience, and violence and she is a prisoner there and they will not let her go. We learn so much about the order, what they have to go through going up and what they have to do in the present. Are they good or are they bad? I think it is a little bit of both if I am truthful.

Romance blooms with Carrson Ashford, while she helps with her situation with her father, and helps her to learn how to protect herself at the same time.

Lexi you have done it again and I cannot wait to get the second in the series!
